[ARCHIVED] KCSO Looking For Runaway Juvenile

Hayden, ID - The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in locating a missing/runaway juvenile from the Garwood area. Kyle Davidson is a 15 year old male who was last seen on Dodd Road in the Hayden area. Kyle has only been in the area for about 5 hours prior to running away from the Youth Rehabilitation Facility. It was reported he ran into the woods to the north of the home and has been missing since July 16th at around 5:55 p.m.

Kootenai County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area and after searching the property and neighboring properties the juvenile was not located. Deputies continued to check the area throughout the night and morning and were still not able to locate the juvenile.

Kyle has only been in the area for one day and has no family or friends. It is unknown what he was wearing when he left. Kyle is currently not a danger to himself or the public and according to his family this type of behavior is normal when he is placed into a new home.

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office requests that if you see Kyle please call the Sheriff’s Office at 208-446-1300. Additionally, it is asked that any residents in the area check their out buildings as Kyle has broken into sheds to hide in the past.
