[ARCHIVED] Preparing for a Career in Law Enforcement

Kootenai County, Idaho – Are you looking for a career instead of a job? Do you feel a calling to serve your community? If so, let the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office help you find out if a career in law enforcement is for you. This Saturday, October 14, 2023, the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a “Preparing for a Career in Law Enforcement” event. 

This will be an opportunity to meet with officials from the agency, learn how to prepare for an oral board and even test your physical ability. You can also tour the Jail, see staff demonstrations and even try on your future uniform. This is the first step toward changing the course of your life. 

This event will take place at the Kootenai County Public Safety Building which is located at 5500 North Government Way in Coeur d’Alene and will run from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
