Dalton Gardens, Idaho: On November 4th at around 7:20 pm Deputies from the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 1200 block of E. Dalton Ave. for a report of a domestic dispute. As Deputies approached the residence, the Deputies heard what sounded like gun shots coming from the residence. Due to the nature of the call and there were reports of possible gun shots, the Multi Agency SWAT Team was called out to assist.
At approximately 8:50 pm, as the SWAT team was making announcements and preparing to enter the residence, a female exited the residence and surrendered to SWAT members. The female was highly intoxicated and uncooperative with law enforcement. The male half was not located in the residence. Contact with the male was made via phone, however he was also uncooperative, but did provide his location. Coeur d’ Alene Police responded to his location and detaining the male for Deputies.
Due to lack of cooperation from either party and the lack of physical evidence at the scene, neither party was charged at this time.
