KCSO Responds to Overdose Calls

Kootenai County, ID:  On August 2, 2020, at around 2:00 am, Deputies and medical were dispatched to the Kon Tiki bar in the Stateline Village reference to an overdose.  It was reported a female was found in the bathroom incoherent and having convulsions.  The female was transported to Kootenai Health for treatment.

Witnesses stated the female and a friend were in the Kon Tiki Bar and were approached by two males.  The four of them went to Showgirls next door.  Sometime later the female went back to the Kon Tiki and was found in the bathroom and was starting to have convulsions.

According to witnesses, the female’s reaction was not consistent with the amount of alcohol she consumed.

On July 12th, there was a similar incident involving a female having a reaction to the alcohol she consumed and needed to be transported to Kootenai Health for treatment. During this incident, it was reported two males were seen interacting with the female and her friends.

The description of the males are very limited but one male was described as being a white male having a mustache and curly hair and wearing a hat.  The second male was described as being an Asian male.

Both incidents are currently under investigation.  If anyone has any information about the suspects or were at the establishments on the listed dates they are encouraged to contact the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office Detectives Division at 208-446-1300.
