To obtain a Driver's Permit, a certified copy of a birth certificate, a Certificate of Compliance that the applicant is enrolled in school (if under 18),and a Photo Identification are required. A certified copy of a birth certificate may be obtained from the State Bureau of Vital Statistics in the birth state. The applicant must be 17 years of age or have had Driver Training.

2. Proof of Idaho residency
3. Proof of age and identity (birth certificate)
