Our Campus
The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office campus is situated in the City of Coeur d'Alene, near the base of Canfield Mountain. The campus contains KCSO's main office which houses the Civil Division, Administration, Animal Control, Patrol, Records, Investigations and the Office of Emergency Management. Additionally, the campus includes a 325 bed Public Safety Building, Recreation Enforcement Division, Impound and Evidence Yard, Maintenance Shop, Vehicle Shop, and the Pierce Clegg Work Release Center. The campus block also offers the services of the Region I Juvenile Detention Center and Adult Misdemeanor Probation.
Our Department serves the most beautiful area in Idaho. We serve residents within the 1245 square miles of land area in our county and on the 56 miles of navigable waters of our 18 lakes.
